The staff were really friendly and the service was very good. The place is cosy and cheap, about a three-minute walk from the beach. My room was okay overall, though it felt damp and smelled a bit musty. We had a double bed, but the standard setup was one towel and a blanket sized for one person. They can bring more if you ask. You can also request use of the kitchen to make your own breakfast or meal, which is a nice way to get to know staff and other guests. A good short stay for backpackers, especially for the staff.

The female dorm was clean, quiet, and peaceful, and I stayed there for a week. It's a five-minute walk to the cliff. The staff are friendly and very helpful, and meeting other travelers and making friends was a real plus. A great place for solo travelers. I'd happily come back and stay again.

We stayed four nights in a very cheap private room. It had a comfortable bed, a small balcony area, and a fan; cleanliness was okay. The shower had warm water, which is unusual for a budget hotel in India. The location is handy, around two minutes on foot from the north cliff and all the restaurants. Very good value for money.

Ansil is a lovely manager and makes great Masala chai. There's a nice shared area and a kitchen guests can use, as long as they tidy up after themselves. The beds are comfortable, not hard, the pillows and linen are decent, and the fans are quiet. Hot water too, plus a few yoga mats around. I'm definitely staying again next year.

We booked a private room but switched to the dorm because the air-con was excellent. The staff are relaxed, and the cliff is only a few minutes' walk away. No frills, but I'd return.
