The hosts were lovely and really friendly, and the room was arguably the best price you’ll find in Varkala. I’d recommend it for families too. Can’t wait to visit Varkala again 😁

The owner is helpful in every way, and the service is good. The property is kept neat and is very close to the beach.

I didn’t stay in a room here, but the person I rented a scooty from gave me a card for this place. Be careful if you rent a scooty from them. They ask for an extra 1000 bucks in case the police issue a fine for breaking a rule, and say they’ll return it after 20 days. Once those 20 days pass, you have to keep calling and begging them to give back money that was yours to begin with. I don’t know why this residency’s name is on that rental place’s card. Just don’t rent a scooty from them. I’d attach a photo of the rental place if I could. Beware.

Oceanic residency is about 100 meters from north cliff, which is the main attraction. The owner and staff are friendly, the service is great, and it’s budget friendly. Must visit.
