We were a group of 10 adults and 9 kids, and the calm setting on Varkala’s South Cliff made for a memorable, relaxing stay. The views, fresh air, and peaceful feel made it seem like a real retreat, especially for anyone wanting to get away from crowds while staying close to the beach and main attractions. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly, always ready to help. Vishal deserves a special mention for being so courteous and attentive, and for making sure everything went smoothly for us. I’d recommend this resort in Varkala, particularly if you’re looking for a quiet place to unwind, whether travelling as a couple, family, or on your own.

The cliffside location is the main draw: there’s a great view and lots of lovely cafes nearby. The rooms are just okay, and the food is ordinary. Meals start around 8-8:30 and finish by 9 pm. There’s no alcohol at the hotel, though the staff can help get it from a shop. Getting to the beach involves an adventure down the high cliff, and could be a bit risky for older people and children. The staff were very helpful overall, but the rooms could be improved.

We had a great three-day stay, and the complimentary breakfast was really good every day. The place is in varkala, with nice cafes and restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. They also serve lunch and dinner there. The manager was super helpful and knows Hindi. The staff understand English and malayalam, and the manager even came to translate Hindi into malayalam so he could explain things to them. I liked the place a lot and think it deserves five stars. It also has a private beach and pool for fun.

The hotel is in a quiet, fairly secluded part of Varkala, with a fantastic cliff view. It’s serene, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful. The rooms could use a few basics, like hooks for clothes and napkins alongside the towels. A clothesline would also be useful given the tropical weather and beach and water sports activities. The price felt a little high for the facilities, but I still had a very good stay.

Pura Vida has spacious, tidy rooms and a beautiful pool. The setting is picturesque, with easy beach access. The food could be better, but everything else was worth it. We had a great stay.
