Ajith Kumar was especially friendly and helpful, and his hospitality made our stay better. We had a very good time at Jaya Tourist Home. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommend it.

We arrived at midnight, and the staff guided us to Jaya Tourist Home and helped us get settled. The stay was decent and comfortable for our budget. I've been to Varkala three times, and this trip came up unexpectedly. After contacting a lot of properties, we chose this one because they replied properly and were helpful. A good budget option if you're planning a Varkala visit.

The friendly, polite receptionist was a bright spot, and the bathroom and bedsheets were clean enough. But for what we paid for two nights in late December, the non-AC room was disappointing. It was about a 10-minute scooter ride to North Cliff. Our room was on the third floor and there was no lift, while the staff weren't very helpful with our bags. Supplies were sparse for two people: one towel, one water bottle, and small shampoo and soap. The room got extremely hot. The ceiling fan was stuck on its highest speed because the control knob didn't work, and it was so loud that sleeping was hard. We also heard noticeable road noise at night. The stay didn't meet expectations for the price.

We were made to feel welcome throughout, and Mr. Ajith, the manager, made sure everything was right for us. The staff were friendly and supportive, the service was excellent, and our room was comfortable. Thanks to the whole team for a pleasant, memorable stay. 😊
