Our travel agency booked the hotel, so we arrived without knowing what to expect. Apparently there are two kinds of rooms: decorated cottages, though I didn't see their interiors, and plainer rooms in part of a bungalow, probably the owner's. We got one of the plain rooms. It was fine, with AC, clean toilets and toiletries, but no TV. The beach and nightlife are conveniently close. Breakfast was good, with chole Puri. The cramped rooms could use renovation to bring them up to the standard of the more luxurious options.

The property looked beautiful and clean, and the rooms were good, so we had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was the letdown. It was included, but we only got a bread omelette and one tea, which wasn't enough. We had to pay extra for another omelette. They should offer at least two choices to make the meal more satisfying.

The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were average but fine for a budget stay. It's near the beach cliff, though the rooms don't have a direct beach view. The bedding was dirty, with lots of hair on the blankets and sheets. They changed it when we asked, but weren't friendly about it. There were also many ants in the room, which made things uncomfortable. Service was just okay. Dahlia Beach Resort could improve both cleanliness and hospitality.

The rooms and location are fine, but the service was pathetic. We had to request even basic things like toilet paper and extra water bottles. Breakfast was another mess: they got the order wrong and brought food we hadn't asked for. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you don't want to spend the visit complaining.

No hot water, and there wasn't even a telephone in the room. We had to ask for toilet paper too. The room had no TV or other amenities, and no tea, coffee or kettle. The food was below average, the staff uncooperative, and the location horrible. The whole experience felt like a nightmare. Don't be fooled by the reviews.
