Casa Lake View Resort Wayanad

The way into the resort isn't great, but once inside it's truly beautiful 🌅. We had a peaceful family getaway away from the city, with a breathtaking view, well-maintained rooms, and a tidy pool area. The food was delicious, and the staff were humble and polite. We had an amazing stay. Thanks to team casa lake.

The view from my room was awesome, and the rooms themselves were clean and well maintained. Jinesh and his assistant were especially friendly and helpful, even getting us entry tickets for Soochipara Falls. The chef was also very good and friendly. Since my wife is pregnant, I asked for extra takeaway food in case of an emergency, and the kitchen staff kindly packed it for us. The food and stay were really good overall. I stayed here on 24th May 2026 after a friend recommended it. I was a little concerned at first: the property is 4.5 km in along narrow estate roads, and the road condition wasn't good. Check-in was about 15 minutes late because the previous guests had checked out late. The one concern on site was the game room equipment, which was in poor condition. I’d recommend this as a medium-budget lake-view stay.

We booked two days, but checked out after the first because of room problems and poor service. The location is good, but our experience was bad. I’m not sure why people rate it based only on the setting. Our room’s faucet was leaking. I expected it to be checked before we were given the room, but when I reported it, they blamed us. The woman at reception was very arrogant toward us. The rooms have glass all around with curtains inside. In summer, heat comes straight through the glass, and the black curtains hold it in. We couldn’t sleep properly even with the AC, and the room got extremely hot in the morning. The pool is small, really just for kids to play or for taking pictures, not swimming. The property is small too, and I wouldn’t call it a resort. It’s remote, with nothing nearby. You have to drive along small, narrow roads for at least 20 minutes to find something. Don’t choose the meal-included plan. We were told on the way that dinner would be provided, then told with only an hour’s notice that it wasn’t available, so we had to drive back to a nearby town. There were also not enough eggs at breakfast. We were drawn in by the location but had a poor stay and couldn’t enjoy what we came for. People should consider all the factors when rating it, not give five stars just for the location. The resort didn’t create that lake for us. It’s part of nature, and they just happen to be there.

A few electrical sockets weren’t working, but otherwise everything went smoothly and we enjoyed the stay. The property was clean, peaceful, and well maintained. Room service was prompt, the food was fresh and tasty, and the lake view from our room was beautiful and relaxing. A great place to unwind.
