The manager and person in charge were friendly and polite, and the hotel is easy to spot on the main road. There is parking, and the exterior looks good with potted plants. We stayed from 3.5.18 to 5.5.18, and my family was unhappy with the experience. The rooms are small, with a bed that only fits two, so there isn't enough room if you bring children. Windows are transparent glass, with curtains as the only privacy, and the doors have no curtains. The AC room doors face the busy main road directly, so traffic noise continues and the place doesn't feel calm or safe. They also give AC rooms to guests who asked for non-AC, but there is no ceiling fan, just a small wall-mounted one. The management gave an unconvincing explanation for having no door handles. Power outages are frequent in the area, which isn't the hotel's fault, but the generator ran only briefly. We spent much of the time sleeping without a fan and couldn't charge our phones. When we asked, they said they had run out of diesel and needed to buy more. Hot water from the heater was available for only 10 minutes in the morning, with another five minutes provided on request, and it was enough for just one bath. Insects were also a major disturbance. I wouldn't choose this place again.

I booked for two days after seeing the high ratings, but our experience was very different. The rooms and bathrooms weren't clean, and there were lots of insects. My two kids couldn't sleep all night because insects were in the bed, and we also saw some in the bathroom. We left after one night. I hope the management uses this feedback to improve things for future guests who arrive with high hopes, as my family did.

There’s good parking and CCTV, and the location is convenient for visiting several places. Kalpetta market, which is good for shopping, is about 5 kms away. The owner and support staff were well behaved, and the place is budget friendly and suited to a couple's stay. It was a good experience overall, though the room cleanliness and hot water need some improvement. Food isn't served here.

The rooms were clean, but only a couple of hours of hot water were available in the morning. The location was fine and the rooms average, though the Airbnb price felt very high for what was provided, since it was accommodation only. Coordinating with the administration was difficult: reception was sometimes unattended, or the man there couldn't understand any language. The drinking water from the purifier didn't seem clean, and nothing was done about it.
