Casacolonica Resort

We came as a family group of 21, including kids, and booked five cottages at Misty Night Jungle Side Resort. The location has potential, but poor upkeep in four of the cottages affected our stay. Some bathrooms had no water, the flush wasn't working in one, and there were no exhaust fans. The AC units either didn't work properly or leaked water into the rooms. We told the manager and expected a quick fix, but the response and maintenance standards weren't satisfactory. For a large group, working bathrooms and air conditioning are basic needs. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the cottages.

The staff were helpful whenever we asked for things, but we had to request them one by one. Breakfast was very average and the stay didn't feel worth the money. It seems more suitable for bachelors than families. We had booked the villa, where the electricity voltage issue made the lights go dim and bright and the AC kept switching off and on. Bathroom lids were detached and broken. Other than soap and a brush and paste, no toiletries were provided, and there was no TV or iron box.

The food was awesome. Ajmal cooked chicken 65 for me, and Sabith made chicken biryani. Ajmal, Ramshad, Sabith, and owner Adarsh were friendly and treated us like family. This was the best resort I've stayed at in Wayanad. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The property needs proper maintenance, but Ramshad's service made the place likeable. He was prompt and always willing to do his best to make guests comfortable.
