Rooz Green Leaf

We enjoyed our group stay, and the resort was nicely done up and well maintained. The photos shared before booking matched what we found, though the pool is at the far end past all the villas. We had arranged food in advance with the owner, which turned out to be a wise choice. The caretaker and staff deserve a special mention for their patience and good care. The place is quite isolated if you want to enjoy the city, so plan accordingly.

The stay was pleasant, and the rooms and the way they’re maintained are awesome. The resort is surrounded by scenic beauty, and the swimming pool is really big and good. It’s still under construction. The food could be better, though what we got was good.

The idea behind this place is great for a family get-together, and the pool was one of the few things we liked. But our stay on the 28th-29th left us disappointed, and we could only give it 2/5. We were the only guests there, so we felt more attention could have been given to our stay. The road to the resort was partly closed, something the staff seemed unaware of, and we had to find another way in. The AC in both bedrooms wasn’t working, which was especially hard in the hot weather with our infants. One bathroom also had a drainage problem. The staff were courteous, but hotel management and hospitality need a lot of improvement. A year since opening seems like plenty of time to learn. I hope this feedback helps things improve.

Clean and tidy, and an easy recommendation if you’re after a place to stay near Wayanad’s attractions. It’s more of a gated community of villas than a resort, with a shared pool and playground that has a badminton court. The staff are helpful, and there’s a decent chicken BBQ option too.
