The breakfast was good, and the dinner buffet was decent. Restaurant choices are limited, though, and the food quality was okay rather than great. For us, this might work as a place to sleep while exploring the area, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay, and I’d avoid coming back if I could. The property is large, with several villas, including a couple with private pools. There’s also a shared pool right beside the dining area, but it wasn’t very well maintained. The layout felt mixed up. On a sunny morning the place might look good, while in the rain it seemed gloomy and dirty. The humid air made things smell a little moldy, and the beds and bathrooms varied in quality. It wasn’t exactly bad, but it didn’t feel comfortable either, and I couldn’t point to just one issue. We booked a two-bedroom villa for two adults and two kids. For the price it could be good value if shared by a couple of families, since it can comfortably fit eight. As far as I understood, most villas don’t have AC, though that wasn’t clearly mentioned. I asked for an air-conditioned one and got a vague answer about it not being available.

There’s plenty to do at Safari Hills, and our group enjoyed the turf, indoor games, and outdoor activities. The property spans 7 acres, with well-kept villas and lovely scenery, plus lots of space to relax. Staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help. It was a peaceful, spacious stay that we found memorable. I’d recommend it to families, couples, or groups looking for a relaxing getaway in Wayanad.

The villas were clean and tidy, the location was great, and the property felt safe and secure. Even in midsummer it stayed cool. Breakfast was good too. A few drawbacks: the pool was a little dirty, and getting a car uphill could be tricky for a beginner driver. There’s no à la carte option for lunch or dinner. Still, we had a good stay.

The location and rooms were top notch, and the food was delicious. Service was good too. We left a bag near the parking area with 10,000 rupees inside. After we called reception, they found it and sent the money through PhonePe.

It’s a quiet resort with a lot of potential, and the rooms were clean, though not quite up to the mark. The bigger issue was the lack of proper management. Waste and plastic bottles were left scattered around, and staff didn’t seem concerned about picking them up. A used coffee mug sat on our patio for two days. The food was good, but maintenance could be much better.
