Vythiri Hills Nature Resort

We planned to stay one day, but the staff were so helpful and the views so lovely that we stayed another. The air was fresh, the weather cool, and the greenery and scenery were beautiful. The place was very clean, the owner polite, and the staff welcoming. We enjoyed the tasty, authentic Kerala food made with produce from their kitchen garden. The last stretch of the route, about 200mts near the peak, is narrow and not well constructed. The resort team will help you get there safely, though. A place worth visiting.

We had a peaceful time here, enjoying the natural setting and quiet, off-road location. It really felt like being at home, tucked into nature, with clean air and a chance to relax. The staff were hospitable and the food was great. The only issue was getting steady hot water in the bathroom, but staff arranged it whenever we needed it. We'd happily return. Getting to the resort takes some careful driving, and a skilled driver will find the road easier to manage. You can call the caretakers if you need help with the route. Once there, the peaceful setting and early morning views were wonderful. The short trek felt different and refreshing, and there's a large space for a campfire as well as a great spot for tent stays. Ashkar & vineesh were energetic and quick with their hospitality and service. Lunch and dinner were tasty and classy. People worn out by their daily routine should come for a couple of days to recharge.

The views are good, but the service is poor and the cost is high for what you get. Tent accommodation was especially bad. More than 30 people had to share just one washroom and one room to freshen up, and there wasn't proper sanitisation. The tent smelled awful, there weren't enough pillows or blankets, and we had to wait a long time for food while hungry.
