FabHotel Senthur Inn

The staff made the stay feel welcoming, especially Sadam ji and Pandian ji, so thanks to the whole team for their hospitality. The hotel is right in the centre of Sathuvachari, and the main road is an easy walk away.

I had a valid Booking.com reservation, but the hotel refused to check me in. They said every room was sold out and left me waiting while I tried to sort it out for an hour. Staff eventually admitted they had missed my booking and accepted other guests. It seemed to me they preferred customers who booked directly and paid more, so they ignored my reservation. Hotels that won't honor reservations shouldn't list rooms on booking sites. These sites should blacklist properties that fail to follow reservation rules.

Family rooms are a decent size, though the other rooms felt average. Room service was poor, and housekeeping was available only at set times. If the hotel is presented as three-star, I expected housekeeping and room service to be available 24/7. There isn't a restaurant, and I couldn't find a good one nearby either. That's why I feel the three-star listing is misleading.

They refused to honor my confirmed Cleartrip reservation, so I can't say anything about the rooms or service. When we arrived, we were told there was no room, with no apology or accountability. One staff member kept blaming Cleartrip and then offered a single room with two beds for six people, for an extra charge. Other reviews suggest this has happened before. To me, the way they handled it felt like misleading customers and trying to upsell when they were under pressure. I'd avoid this place if you value your time and money.
