Hotel Y2 Grand by OYO Rooms

This happened to me twice: I booked an AC room, then was told on arrival that the price I paid only covered a non-AC room. Please check again when booking this hotel.

I recently came to stay here with my family. As soon as I entered, I saw the receptionist asleep after drinking heavily. We tried to wake him, but he didn't respond. We had a very bad experience. Please don't do this to other customers.

The beds were the most spacious I've seen in a hotel, great for a family. It's a comfortable, homely place with welcoming, cordial staff and reasonable rates for the money. If they explored catering or food in the hotel, it would be a great place to stay.

We were a family group of 14, and after booking through booking.com, the staff refused to check us in because they said all the rooms were full. It was midnight, and we waited almost an hour. They still denied us after every attempt. I called booking.com customer care, and they called the staff member three times in front of me. He pretended to know only the local language and couldn't speak Hindi or English. The manager or staff member was awful. While we kept asking why we couldn't check in, he smiled and giggled with the other staff. I was shocked that someone would laugh at a family simply trying to get into the hotel they'd booked. Forget the money, this was the worst hospitality I've ever received.
