Lemon Tree Premier Vijayawada

The hotel is close to Kanaka Durga Temple, which made it a good place for our Vijayawada stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with an elegant but cozy feel. The spacious seating areas worked well for our family to relax and spend time together. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful, and room service was prompt and customer focused. The food was good and fairly priced. Breakfast let us down a little and could be better. The entrance sits at a U-turn, which raised some safety concerns. Still, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

The conference halls at Lemon Tree Hotel Vijayawada were spacious, well maintained, and suited to our small to medium sized event. MG Road is a major advantage: the hotel is easy to spot and close to the railway and bus stations. The airport is farther out, since Vijayawada airport is away from the city. Parking near the porch is limited, but there are two cellar levels with plenty of spaces. Their narrow, confusing entry and lanes took some getting used to. The people were the hotel’s strongest point. I coordinated our conference and room bookings with Mr. Sekhar from Sales. He understood the customer’s view, offered practical ideas, and stayed in touch before and during the event. Mr. Harsha from Banquets and Mr. Fayaz were also very supportive with the arrangements and facilities. Restaurant staff Amrita, Shiva, and Pavan were courteous and attentive to food preferences and guest needs. Food didn’t match the otherwise good ambience, location, and hospitality. The taste needs considerable improvement. Even the Idly at breakfast was hard, and the chutneys didn’t feel up to the quality I’d expect from the Lemon Tree brand. With Vijayawada’s strong breakfast and meal options, there’s room to improve. Sunday staffing was another practical issue: help reorganizing the conference setup took a while, and we missed our planned morning snacks because lunch preparations had already started. A good property with excellent people and a strong location, and better food and support at busy times would improve the experience.

Nagur Kumar, the housekeeping manager, was very helpful and quick to assist. After checkout, we realized we’d forgotten a small purse. I called him even though he was off, and he contacted the staff to make sure it was kept safe. He was also kind enough to send it safely by courier to Hyderabad. We’d actually been given it during check-in, which made getting it back all the more reassuring. The hospitality was 10/10. Chef Amrita talked us through the menu for kids and adults, brought us a buffet thaali so we could taste all the items at the table, and made sure the kids got special breakfast options. The kids also loved the snack plate with their names written on it. Such thoughtful service gave us lovely memories of our family visit to Lemon Tree Premier. Top notch service, unlike anything I’ve experienced.

The room felt fresh as soon as we walked in, with a lemon fragrance, and the bedroom and washroom were very neat and clean. We were welcomed with aarti, with a real Indian feel to it. The front desk and support staff were polite, caring, and helpful. Lunch and the evening buffet were good, though the welcome drink could be better, even if it wasn’t bad. Lemon Tree Vijayawada wasn’t our first choice for this family trip, but we’re glad we changed plans. The hotel is in a prime spot near sightseeing and street shopping, and we had a happy, peaceful stay.
