OYO 39870 Sricity

The rooms and service were horrible, the amenities didn’t work, and the staff seemed hungry for tips.

I went with my dad to another hotel, but its rooms were full, so they sent us here. The bedsheets were worn at the edges, the beds weren’t good, and the blanket felt like one from the roadside. The AC wasn’t good either. Outside the hotel, there were condoms scattered around and spread across the road. It was a terrible experience.

The rooms are average, and cleanliness is a real concern, so don’t expect high hygiene standards. Prices can vary, too. The location is convenient, close to the railway station and bus stand, with bars, theaters, shops, and transport links nearby. Auto drivers often recommend the place because they get a referral commission. Hotel Kubera is nearby and, in my view, offers a more comfortable stay. Both hotels are well placed for getting around the city.

The basics are provided, but that’s about it. The floors were sticky, the bed had stains, and there were so many mosquitoes and bedbugs that we couldn’t sleep. The bathrooms were slippery and had no hot water unless we asked them to turn on the heater. AC worked in one room but not properly in another. We paid a lot, yet they wouldn’t clean the room even when we handed over the keys. The fan regulator was broken off, so we couldn’t adjust the speed or switch the fan off.
