Staro Hotel - Hotel In Vijayawada

The rooms are clean, and there are Dmart and other essential shops nearby. It’s right on the highway and a good hotel compared with others in the area. The nearby hotels, including Oyo hotels, are terrible.

I booked an extra mattress, but they wouldn’t give me an extra blanket and told me to manage with a bedsheet. The sheets they provided were unclean and smelled unpleasant. When I asked for water for the room, they refused, saying it wasn’t part of my booking and I’d have to buy it. I understand charging for extra water, but the first round should be a basic amenity. The bathroom wasn’t clean either, and the staff’s communication and customer service were poor. I stayed there last Friday, and I can’t understand the five-star ratings. The service and hospitality need to improve, especially with plenty of competition around.

The room was dusty, unhygienic, and in terrible condition. The bedsheets were dirty, there was no shower, the bathroom hanger was broken, and mosquitoes filled the room. The only plus was its location on NH16. The quoted price for a Deluxe family room was 1800, but they charged us 2000 when we arrived. There’s only one person available to help, so even asking for an extra pillow meant waiting 30 minutes. It’s not worth what they charge, and it was a very bad place to stay.

The staff weren’t cooperative, and they insisted on advance payment for the room fare. There was no toilet soap or shampoo, and the TV didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
