Hotel Morya

The only snag was that they couldn't offer a late check-out, so plan your departure around that. Otherwise, the rooms were above average and comfortable, with reliable hot water and a lift. Staff were great, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is right by the bus stop and railway station, which is very convenient.

The location is the strongest point, about 500 meters or less from the railway station, and the staff are cooperative. But Hotel Morya is old, and the rooms, bed, AC, TV, and especially the remotes feel outdated. Most remotes don't work properly, and the bathroom taps and fittings clearly need renovation. Room service wasn't very good either. When I asked for a bedsheet or blanket change, they weren't very cooperative. Great spot, but the hotel needs maintenance and improvement.

The room service person asked me for money as soon as I checked in, which felt unusual since they normally ask when you leave or when you request help. I carried my own bags even though he had asked for money. The hotel itself was neat and clean, including the bathrooms. They provided a towel and soap, and the AC worked well, surprisingly a new model. It's about a 10-minute walk from the railway station.

Everything felt luxurious, but the service people kept asking everyone in our family for extra money. Even when we said we didn't want to pay, they continued chasing after money, though they weren't doing much work. The hotel Manager said nothing to them. I wouldn't recommend it for families.
