OYO 14126 Vizag Grand

The room smelled bad and had fungus and mold, and they hadn’t even provided soap or drinking water. I’d pre-booked, yet still spent 30 minutes waiting at the counter because no one was there.

The hospitality was great, and the rooms and service were good. It’s an easy walk from Vizag busstand, and there’s a place right next door where you can get briyani even at 4:00 AM.

The bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the rooms weren’t hygienic. Cigarette smoke filled the corridor, with no separate smoking area, so it was hard to walk through. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The poor room conditions and rude reception made this a miserable stay for my brother and uncle, whom I’d booked in for one day. There was no mobile signal in their room, and it was neither clean nor properly maintained. At checkout the next morning, my wife and I came to visit them. She went inside to speak with her brother while I waited at reception. The receptionist rudely asked who she was. When I said she was my wife, he demanded her ID, even though she wasn’t staying there. I explained she was only visiting her brother, but he challenged me to prove it. That felt invasive and disrespectful, especially when we were just visiting family. The staff showed no respect toward guests, and the service was poor. I strongly wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for families. Zero stars for professionalism.
