The room was dark, most of the lights didn't work, and there was no hot water. The property and interiors also felt outdated and poorly kept. The lobby and walkways were crowded and disorganized, with staff constantly moving around, almost as if an event was underway. I arrived before check-in time and was told to wait 30 minutes. Then staff said the room category I'd booked wasn't available, which showed poor coordination. Mr. Ramprasad, the person in charge, didn't even remember which room had been assigned. With no other option at that point, I checked in anyway. The staff behavior, especially his, was extremely unprofessional. My stay at Pearl Diamond Hotel, Vizag was a big disappointment, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a comfortable stay in Vizag.

It's a quiet place in the city center and generally worth considering for a stay. Rooms are okay. I'd suggest calling reception to book directly instead of using third-party sites like booking.com, since those charge commission and direct booking could save at least 1k rupees. The breakfast buffet isn't worth it, with very few options. I also paid for a booking.com add-on offering 10% off food and drinks, but it wasn't applied to my lunch buffet bill. The receptionist said those add-ons were for booking.com sales and didn't apply at the hotel. What the site showed and what was actually available didn't match.

The food was delicious, with rich flavors, and every meal was served with care. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the calm, clean atmosphere made the stay relaxing and memorable. The staff were polite, professional, and helpful. We had a very pleasant visit to Diamond Pearl Hotel, Visakhapatnam, and would gladly recommend it.

The chicken biryani I ordered for dinner was really good, and the breakfast had good options. The location is convenient, close to the railway station and RK beach. Service was a bad experience, though: the landline wasn't working, and even after several reminders, the issue wasn't fixed.

For work, I needed a quiet place to rest and focus, but noise from the corridor and air conditioner made it nearly impossible to sleep or concentrate. Wi-Fi was unstable throughout my stay, a real problem with online meetings. Staff were unresponsive and not professional; even requests for clean towels or bottled water took an unreasonable amount of time. Breakfast was poorly organized and very low quality. The room smelled strongly musty, and cleanliness fell well below expectations. Bedsheets and towels seemed reused, while the old bathroom fittings were leaking and poorly maintained. The property looked decent in photos, but the reality was quite different. This business trip stay was very disappointing. The hotel fails to meet basic expectations for comfort and service for business guests, and I wouldn't recommend it for work travel.
