Shanti Seva Dham - The Religious Stay At Priyakant Ju Temple Vrindavan

I stayed at Shanti Seva Dham, Vrindavan on December 13, 2025, and checked out on December 14, 2025, after paying all outstanding bills in full. Still, at 10:10 PM that day, a staff member called to say I hadn't paid the food bill. A call that late was inappropriate and unprofessional. I explained that everything was paid and sent a screenshot of the online transaction, but the staff remained extremely rude and disrespectful. Paying online was a good thing. Without that screenshot, who knows how many times the people at Shanti Seva Dham would have kept calling to say I hadn't paid? Having proof was the only way I could show I was right.😂😂😂😂 It’s hard not to wonder how many other customers they try to extort extra money from, especially people without solid proof. This kind of disorganization, false accusation, and mistreatment creates suspicion and damages the reputation of a religious, reputable establishment.

The restaurant team was pleasant, and the receptionist there was genuinely helpful and polite. Being right beside Priyakantu Ji Temple was another plus. But the stay itself was disappointing. I had booked two rooms, and neither TV worked; both remotes were missing. When I asked, I was told the TVs in the whole block were out, and nobody tried to sort it out. The rooms also needed serious upkeep, with corroded bathroom fittings, broken door handles, and an old, dirty AC. Cleanliness and maintenance fell well short of basic expectations.

There was no cleanliness, and the staff were very rude. I called five times about the missing TV remote, but they still didn't provide one. If you want to feel like you're living in hell, come here.

The food was a highlight for me, especially since they don't use onion or garlic. There's a restaurant inside the hotel, and the staff and management were nice. Had a great stay.
