There aren’t many shops around, and street lighting is limited, so walking out after 9 PM isn’t a good idea, especially if you need to buy something. The hotel is off the main road, with a short walk to reach it and a patchy stretch that’s a bit off-road, so having your own vehicle is important. We found the staff polite and responsive, and the parking was well maintained. Free Wi-Fi was another plus. Our room for three was clean and suited a family, though the accommodation was moderate. It cost around ₹3000 per night, which felt a bit high because it was a weekend and holiday season. Rates may change with the season and with online versus direct booking. A peaceful, family-friendly option if you’re travelling in your own vehicle.

A peaceful spot for a weekend getaway. At Hotel Hill Breeze, Yelagiri, our room was spacious, neat, and well maintained. The staff were the best part, friendly, polite, and ready whenever we needed help. They made us feel at home. Truly a pleasant stay.

The South Indian breakfast was good. Getting here takes some effort: the last 1km of road is in bad shape, and the remote setting means you’ll need your own transport. Lighting is poor across both the rooms and common areas.

Our confirmed room booking, made many days ahead, was cancelled just an hour before we arrived. No refund was offered, and Make My Trip hadn’t even discussed a refund. We tried calling the hotel number, but nobody answered. This cost us a huge amount, about ₹20,000, because at the last minute we had to pay another ₹20,000 at a different hotel. I’m extremely disappointed and angry.

Even in the off-season, we had a memorable, very pleasant stay at Hotel Hill Breeze in Yelagiri. There were only three of us guests at the resort, but the manager made sure we were comfortable, handled our requests, and was exceptionally polite and helpful. He also arranged excellent meals three times a day.
