The restaurant menu is limited, though the food is good and breakfast is enjoyable. There’s a mini park for kids and plenty of open space to park your own vehicle. The cottages sit right inside the forest and were well maintained. The owner and caretakers were helpful and polite. It’s one of the best resorts in Yercaud, and I’d like to come back.

Being right in the middle of a coffee estate gives this place a lovely setting, but the stay was disappointing overall. For the price of our two nights, the dated interiors and condition of the rooms weren’t acceptable. The walls were unpainted, the old doors didn’t even have proper handles, and the resort needs substantial renovation. Breakfast had very few choices and no variety. Staffing was sparse, and I didn’t see any security at the gate. I’d pick another resort in the area until these problems are fixed.

The location is great and service was adequate. There is a backup for the electricity, but breakfast was horrible, and we became ill after eating it. Restaurant food was expensive and unreasonable. The room had no electric kettle or bed tea, only an old bar of soap. The blanket was poor and unclean, and there was no brush kit.

I’m sharing how I felt misled over the room price by the hotel’s Manager, Shanesh, and receptionist, Arjun. I first called the number on Google and spoke with Shanesh, who asked me to continue on WhatsApp. Arjun then called me. I asked specifically about availability and rates for four people, and he quoted ₹5000 plus tax for a Deluxe Room and ₹5500 plus tax for a Luxury Room. On that basis I asked him to block a room and said I’d arrive in 20 minutes. When I got there, Arjun suddenly said the price was around ₹8000. When I challenged the change, both he and Shanesh claimed they had already told me the higher rate, which they had not. My follow-up messages on WhatsApp were also ignored, despite being asked to continue there. To me, this was a bait-and-switch: a lower price quoted by phone, then changed after I arrived with little choice left. I consider it misrepresentation and an unfair trade practice that caused financial loss, stress, and inconvenience, and undermines trust in hospitality. I’m bringing the matter to the consumer forum and asking for strict action against the hotel for these dishonest practices.
