Hotel Shoba

The room was acceptable for one night: six beds and one bathroom, with car parking that wasn’t very practical. We could make it work for a single night, but I wouldn’t stay longer.

The staff at Hotel Shoba were polite and honest. I left my belt in the room, and before I’d even left Yercaud, reception called to let me know. I was able to collect it safely, and I was really impressed by their hospitality. We stayed two nights as a couple. The rooms were clean and neat, and the location near Yercaud bus stand was perfect. It felt safe and was a great budget option for couples and families. I highly recommend it for a comfortable stay in Yercaud.

I had a really bad experience here. There was no one at reception, the power was out, and the staff were irresponsible. Please don’t book this place. You’d be better off choosing somewhere else.

The rooms were clean, which is about all you can count on. There’s no kitchen, so you have to buy food from outside. They don’t provide toiletries like soap, and towels are only given if you ask, with just one for two people. There’s no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the water for bathing is only warm, not hot.
