Oyo 25122 Mount Elite

We were left to find another hotel ourselves after arriving at 10.30pm and being told our prepaid OYO booking had been sold to someone else. We couldn’t find a room easily because it was peak season, and it was about 13 deg Celsius. This went on until 2am. The manager turned off his phone, the security guard was completely drunk and wouldn’t wake up, and OYO customer care was no help. I’m sure the OYO Representative for this location must have got a bribe from the hotel and listed it on OYO, since it doesn’t follow any of OYO’s standards. The owner, manager, whoever they are, are frauds, and the service is the worst. Please don’t book this place.

When I arrived, I cancelled my online booking because there were no AC rooms available. They had charged me for AC, though, and OYA hotels charged a very high rate. The hotel offered two days for 5000RS online, but the same rooms without AC cost 3000Rs. Better to book when you get there, where you can find a good hotel for less.

We booked two days, but only came to check in on the second morning. The manager was drunk and asleep in the room we were meant to use. He refused to let us in, saying we’d booked for only the second day, and left us waiting outside until 11.00 am. It was pathetic. We never got a refund for the first day either. Don’t choose this hotel.

For time with your friends, I’d say this is a good place to relax. If you’re going with your girlfriend or other loved ones, I’d look somewhere else.
