OYO 13792 Blue Bell Holiday Inn

If you like somewhere quiet and secluded with your own space, this is a really nice place for a getaway. It’s a cool spot with the essentials, though it isn’t a big hotel full of facilities. There’s no restaurant on site, but a few food places are fairly nearby, so bring some snacks along. They do provide a complimentary breakfast, a few limited items brought in from outside, and it was pretty decent.

Nice stay for the price, but I wouldn’t suggest it for families or couples. It seems better suited to boys or bachelor groups. The rooms aren’t soundproof, and liquor is permitted, so noise can be an issue. There were no women among the service staff, the rooms weren’t cleaned much, and the bedsheets and towels weren’t properly maintained. There’s spacious parking, and the isolated location gives quick access to the lake. On the downside, they don’t offer a complimentary water bottle, there’s no heater, facilities need improvement, and there’s no security.

For a low budget stay, I was satisfied with what we got. The view, staff, and room cleanliness were all good. The weather is nice, and it suits bachelors who want to spend the day drinking and sitting around a campfire. Families can have a fire too, in a separate area.

There’s good hot water, and the place is pleasant for a breather, though the rooms aren’t spacious. Bring your own soap and towels. There’s no good restaurant nearby, so you have to walk about 1 km for a decent meal, or place an order and they’ll buy it for you. There’s no phone to call reception, even if you just need water. It’s an okay place for a day or two.
