Hotel Shevaroys

The restaurant was decent, but the food didn’t have the taste or variety to live up to the hype I’d seen in other reviews. Still, compared with most other places to eat in Yercaud, it’s a reliable option and better than the alternatives around. Shevroys hotel has spacious, comfortable rooms and a beautifully kept property. The lush surroundings and peaceful atmosphere make it a lovely place to unwind and enjoy Yercaud’s natural beauty. I’d come back for the property itself, especially if a quiet stay matters more than gourmet food.

We had a romantic date at Hotel shevroys and really enjoyed our stay. Mr. Ashok kumar, one of the staff, was so familiar and helpful even though we didn’t know him personally. He arranged a cab and found us a room at an affordable price. He also gave us a 15% discount on food. We’ll definitely be back for our next vacation on New year 🎉

The Mushroom Biryani was sweet, and when I asked the waiter about it, she said hotel guests ask for it that way. The food was very disappointing, and after seeing the reviews I don’t think it was worth visiting.

We had a function here on 27th September, and it went completely off schedule. They served food early even though we’d told them not to, then ran out of food while guests were still hungry. We had to go to the market to get more. We asked for bills, but they didn’t provide them despite repeated follow-ups and eventually stopped taking calls. The bill we finally got was incomplete. It took multiple visits and a month to receive the rest, with billing only complete on 29th October. Senthil and Ashok Kumar were the worst people to deal with. We even called to ask for the GM, but got no callback or response. They actually thought it was a bargaining tactic and reduced the amount by 100/- rupees. I have no complaints about the rooms or service, which they did a good job with. But never hold an event here. You’ll regret it. This isn’t even a one star property, and I’d never recommend it.
