It’s an average hotel, and you get what you pay for. Breakfast is very basic. The guys who handled my laundry kept asking for tips, which got annoying. I probably wouldn’t stay again, though it could suit someone watching their costs. Ask for a room at the back. The front faces a busy, noisy road.

We were there for a day and a half, and I was partly ill during the stay. The staff brought me some plain rice from the staff kitchen, and everyone was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel was cozy and family friendly, with a spacious room at a decent price. It’s right by lots of places, including restaurants, shops, and pharmacies. I’d definitely recommend it. One thing for light sleepers: ask for a room at the rear, away from the road. Baghdad never sleeps, so bring decent earplugs if you don’t have a quiet room. We were lucky to have a good pair with us.

For 40,000 IQD, I got one night with clean sheets. The furniture was old and maintenance was poor, but the stay was acceptable overall. The facilities need work.

The owner was a very good man, spoke really good English, and was very helpful. He even gave us a late checkout and did everything he could to make guests comfortable. The hotel was clean and well located. At this price, with breakfast, you can’t get better.

Hey viewer, I arrived at the hotel dijlat Al- khair today, and it’s been really good so far. The rooms are clean and well maintained. If you’re a foreigner, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
