Highcrest Hotel

The towels were a problem every day. After housekeeping cleaned, they took them and didn’t replace them. When I called, the towels brought up were worn out and torn. Reception was disappointing too, especially the two men on the morning shift, who didn’t know how to speak to guests. Things used to be good here, so I hope management improves the staff’s attitude and makes sure guests get proper towels.

The spa, pool and sauna were amazing, and the rooms were very nice. I’ve traveled to more than 50 countries, and I’ve never had service this good. The staff took care of me like a king, and Safwan deserves a special thanks for all his help. Breakfast was world class, and I have nothing to complain about. It was a wonderful stay, and I’d recommend the hotel to everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

The location is far from the center of Sulaynaniyah, but that didn’t bother me. The restaurant was amazing, and there was a good swimming pool. The rooms were comfortable and very nice. For a 5 star hotel, the price was good. It’s one of the few best hotels in Iraq.

Renas at reception was lovely, generous, and always ready to help. The rooms were fairly clean, but the bathroom needs maintenance and rehabilitation. The towels need replacing, and the covers are clearly old. I also got no response when I asked to have the room cleaned. Nice, acceptable hotel, but those things need attention.
