Breakfast didn't offer much choice, and the room faced the coffee bar, where locals gathered. The music and noise carried on fairly late. The room itself was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped, though the basin was unfortunately blocked. It's a modern hotel, but away from the centre.

The room Wi-Fi was unreliable, though it worked best in the reception lounge. Malek Hotel was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included. Staff could speak English. Music from the courtyard cafe got a little loud, but they turned it down around 11pm.

For a second- or third-grade hotel, it wasn't bad. Still, having breakfast start only at 8 AM was inconvenient, and the hygiene issues and poor quality were annoying.

The Italian Cafe and Restaurant is worth a visit. Around Chalus and Noshahr, this is one of the better hotels, with a clean, classy feel and very friendly people.

The outdoor pool for women is a nice, unusual feature. Our room was clean, and the staff were quite nice and helpful.
