Raamtin Residence Hotel

My guests had a terrible stay, even though the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Staff didn’t do much to help, so you have to find the manager if you need something handled. The rooms were too hot or too cold, hairs were on the sheets, and when we asked for tissues they brought opened ones. They didn’t bring more when we needed them because of allergies. Staff could be unfriendly, and when we complained, they just nodded. Laundry was left outside our room, despite the promise it would be brought inside. If I could, I’d give this hotel five stars for being the worst. Don’t waste your money.

We had a suite with a kitchen and stayed for three nights. It was a good experience overall: the staff were kind and helpful, and breakfast was better than I expected for a four-star hotel. The parking caused real problems. It was public, so other people could park there, and getting our car out took ages. At night there was nobody to open the parking, so we had to wait about ten minutes. The windows were another issue. They opened toward another window, with no connection to the outside, so we couldn’t get fresh air in the room.

We had a good stay, with a spacious suite, good service, and well-behaved staff. All the rooms are currently smoking rooms. The hotel should separate them into smoking and non-smoking areas, since the current setup isn’t fair to guests who don’t smoke.

I’ve stayed here three times between 2007 and 2016, and I’ve always enjoyed it. The staff are courteous and friendly, and the rooms are comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Breakfast is first class, with more variety than at most European hotels I’ve stayed in.
