We found the bed very soft and comfortable, even though it was smaller than the average size in Europe and the US. The two toilets were spotless and had soap, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. The guesthouse is in a lovely couple's home, with a really cozy feel. A great, authentic Icelandic experience. I'd absolutely recommend it.

There’s no cooking setup, but the room had a balcony and a comfortable bed. The owner was welcoming and friendly, and there was complimentary fresh fruit, coffee, and tea. A very cosy guesthouse.

The house is lovely, and the couple who own it are super sweet. Our only real downside was an unpleasant smell, like food waste, coming from the small town. It may have been from a fish factory, though we're not sure. Others might not mind it, but it bothered us. Still, it's a great place to stay if that smell doesn't bother you.

Our room was clean and cozy, and the host was very kind. Each room has its own private balcony with a lovely view over the fjord and town. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We had the balcony room, and the view across the Fjord was fantastic. The house and its location are both stunning, and the couple who run Elinar Helgu are friendly and charming. We had to get on the road early, so we missed breakfast. The shower wasn't working because pipes had frozen in the unseasonably cold weather, but the place is so beautiful that I'm still giving it five stars.
