The northern lights were a treat: I was lucky enough to see them in late March without leaving the property, and even watched from my bedroom window the first night. It’s also well placed for exploring the southern coast. After each day spent discovering Iceland, Julia's home was a peaceful retreat. The landscape views from every window were beautiful, and Julia was so warm and friendly that after only a few days, leaving felt like saying goodbye to family.

We visited in May, and fresh snow had turned the landscape into a winter wonderland. It was so peaceful and quiet there. Julia was wonderfully kind and made us the best breakfast. It was also lovely to meet someone from the same little village as us back home. I’d absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast. There’s a reason it averages 4.9 stars.

Traveling the Ring Road as a group of three, we found the loft at Julia's Guesthouse just right for us. The animals and tasty homemade breakfast shared with everyone were a real treat. Julia is such a warm, hospitable host, and we loved our stay. If you’re nearby, you should absolutely stay here.

The breakfast was delicious, and the host even baked lactose-free bread to meet my dietary needs. I was genuinely touched by how thoughtful she was. From the moment I arrived, her warmth and kindness made me feel at home. Her personal care and attention made this a memorable, heartwarming stay. I can’t recommend the place enough.

Julia and Maik welcomed us with huge smiles, and we felt right at home. The place is clean, comfortable, and very inviting, close to the main road. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the cute, calm cats added to the charm. Julia's place is pure magic, with everything you’d want for a night and then some. Thanks to both of you for one of the best overnight stays we’ve ever had.
