The kitchen and dining space were great, and everything was bright, comfortable, and super clean. It's a low-key hotel with fantastic views of the iconic Kirkjufell.

The room was lovely and comfortable, with a clean bathroom and a big window we could open for fresh air. We could see Kirkjufell Mountain from the room. The host was friendly and accommodating, and the main kitchen was clean and comfortable, with two fridges for food. The town has a good range of places to eat. A couple of practical things: you need to leave your shoes at the entrance, so bring slippers or sandals. There's a big staircase, so carrying a bag upstairs is easier than taking your luggage. I'd also suggest adding more tea options. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The shower pressure was spot on, and after a day of extreme wind, that hot shower felt great. There's a communal kitchen for meals. There isn't a service desk, but they're quick to come when you call. The location is amazing, right outside Kirkjufell mountain and across the street from a delicious restaurant serving Icelandic cuisine. Great deal. I only stayed one night.

Check-in was really easy, and the staff communicated with us so well. We stayed for one night while traveling around Iceland. The room was spacious and just right for a night's rest. There's a communal kitchen too, which would be handy if you want to cook your own food.
