The Old Post Office

The hosts were so friendly and kind, and the guesthouse even gives you a free voucher for the coffee shop down the street. We enjoyed making dinner and breakfast in the communal kitchen, which had all the amenities. Our room was perfectly clean, the beds were so comfortable we slept like a dream, and the view was amazing. We stayed one night, and it was lovely.

We spent ages watching the clouds drift by Kirkjufell from our window during the midnight sun. The view was amazing. The rooms are simple and compact, but for us as a couple, a clean room with a decent bathroom and sink was enough. Downstairs, the kitchen has loads of equipment for cooking meals. The guesthouse is fantastic, and it gives coupons for a couple of free cups at Valeria Coffee down the street. That coffee shop is phenomenal, so make use of the coupons.

Great spot in town, with a nice kitchen and communal room. We booked two rooms for our family of four. They were small, but comfortable, clean, and nice, and the stay was budget friendly.

The room was tiny, and we could barely open our suitcases. It was the cheapest room of our whole trip, so the lack of space made sense. The mountain views were incredible, and the beds were comfortable. It was also nice and quiet, with a clean, well-equipped communal kitchen. The shower was great, though I found the hotel's decor a bit messy.
