I almost didn’t want to unpack, the apartment was so beautifully put together. Little touches like the CD collection, complimentary drinks, binoculars, and telescope made it easy to enjoy the amazing ocean view. The atmosphere felt magical, and every detail seemed carefully considered. My only regret is not staying for at least a week. It was an unforgettable experience.

The unit was spacious, comfortable, and good value, with an oven, full-size fridge, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. I loved the sea-facing balcony, though I hadn’t realized it was shared until people from the next unit came out. There wasn’t enough usable patio furniture for both units, and the shower drained slowly. There were also fewer nearby restaurants and grocery options than at many other places we stayed. The location was excellent for exploring the national park and the Snæfellsnes peninsula.

The espresso maker was a nice change from instant coffee, and finding beers in the fridge was a sweet touch. We had trouble getting in because we kept entering the number wrong, entirely our fault, but the owner was very kind when we called. He suggested looking for seals on the beach, and we actually spotted some sleeping there. This was a trip highlight, and I’d make a point of staying again if we return.

I’m staying here tonight, and the place is beautiful. It’s modern, very clean, and has great amenities. You can tell they’re putting in extra effort to make guests happy.
