There are lovely patios for taking in the ocean, and a walking and hiking trail starts right behind the hotel. The staff were lovely, and breakfast, which was included, was delicious. Our room and bathroom were a bit small, but still comfortable and modern. The view of the ocean is beautiful.

The beds were really comfortable, and breakfast had plenty of good options. From the parking lot there's a beautiful view of the volcano and glacier, and it's a perfect place to see the northern lights. My main gripe was the sink, which is absurdly tiny, about half the size of a normal one. Brushing your teeth, you can barely get anything into it. I also couldn't find anywhere to refill a water bottle, and it wouldn't fit under the sink tap anyway. Still, a great hotel.

I stopped by while hiking along the nearby coast, though I didn't stay at the hotel. The staff were really kind, and they had a nice range of drinks and snacks. I bought some juice for the hike back, which I appreciated.

The staff were delightful, and the hotel serves good food. It's a really nice place in a beautiful location. I don't think paying extra for a sea view is necessary, though, since the windows are quite small.

The walking trail to Arnarstapi is right outside, and our rooms looked out over the sea and coastline. They were very comfortable, and the staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and filling. A wonderful place to stay while visiting Snaefellsnes.
