West Park Guesthouse

We had apartment number 6, a full apartment with three twin rooms, one single room, and a large living room and kitchen. It was a great size for our group of six. Staff were super helpful and checked in a few times to make sure we had what we needed. The shared games room was another great place to hang out, with a free pool table, plenty of board games, and lots of comfy seats. The apartment's living room was already large, but it was nice to have this option in the evening too. It's a little remote, which is part of the appeal, and the price was especially good for groups. All in all, a great place to stay. We'd definitely come back and highly recommend it to groups.

We spent half an hour wandering around trying to find our room, with nobody around to help. We arrived later in the evening, after check-in had closed at 6 p.m., and the instructions were so poor that we couldn't work out where to go. The room's bathroom was shared with four other double rooms, so eight people were waiting for it in the morning. It was a nightmare, and I almost wet myself. Sharing the kitchen with that many people was hard too, especially at mealtimes, and it was missing all the basics, no pan, salt, pepper, or oil. You can find much nicer places for the same price. This place was terrible.

Check-in was very easy, and the house had everything we needed, including a laundry area. There are lots of hiking options in the park and nearby. The nearby village also has a wonderful coffee shop and restaurant. Lovely location.

The inside units are cozy, charming, and spacious, and the kitchen is incredible. Everything was spotless, and it's a great place to see the northern lights. You're right in the national park, too. The outside appearance can be misleading, this place is a gem. If you're arriving without a booking, the office is in a different building, shared with "summit adventure".
