The room ran too hot, and we couldn't move to another one. The owner did bring an extra fan, which helped a little. The place is budget-friendly and well located, near the airport and lots of restaurants. Bathrooms and kitchen are shared. I'd give it 3.5/5.

Getting into the city is easy, with a bus stop within walking distance. Wael at reception was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were neat, with fans and curtains to block the midnight sun, and the kitchen was roomy and well equipped. It felt so comfortable that I hardly noticed I was in a hostel.

The room had a lot of things that needed fixing, and sleep was impossible because of the loud party and event venue just 50 meters away. This place is a complete nightmare, not somewhere you can really live.

I came for a week-long conference in Hafnarfjörður and loved my stay. It was comfortable, and the hostess is just the sweetest. Suðurbæjarlaug public swimming pool is nearby too, about a 10min walk.
