We accidentally went to the wrong house, disrupting the host’s plans for other guests and causing them a financial loss, since they had to give those guests a significant discount. We apologized, and the host was kind and understanding about our mistake. That says a lot about their character. The cottage itself was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything our family needed. You can tell the host put their heart into it, and its location is ideal if seeing the Northern Lights is your goal.

It feels private and away from everything, yet things aren’t far off. The cottage is small but roomy enough, with a cozy living room that’s large and very comfortable. The bathroom is decent, with a big shower. I’d definitely come back.

This was our first place to stay in Iceland, and we were pleasantly surprised. It’s a lovely, cozy little house, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Staying here was a real delight.

The terrace has a breathtaking view, and this was one of our best places to stay during the Iceland trip. The hosts had everything ready for us, and the homes were clean and in great shape. They’re also tidy and conveniently located.

Small and nice, with everything you need. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working, but the owner fixed it.
