We felt comfortable here and thought it was good value. The room was roomy, with a comfy bed and a modern bathroom, and the location in Husavik worked really well. The breakfast situation was a little unclear, especially whether a breakfast bag was included, which caused a problem the next morning. The hairdryer also blew up while I was using it.

The rooms were cozy, and the shared kitchen had plenty of equipment: utensils, a fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and electric kettle. The place was good to stay in, but getting through the main door was tricky. It relocked very quickly, and we waited outside about 15-20 minutes before someone helped. Keep a hand on the latch and open it as soon as you enter the code.

We had room 103 and found it comfortable. I made videos showing how the self-service key system works. Just be aware that luggage doesn't get carried upstairs.

The staff member I met was so sweet and friendly, and we had a lovely chat. The yellow restaurant next door was tasty, too. Post- Plaza Guesthouse is clean and comfy, with a shower in every room and a kitchen that even had Starbucks coffee. It's only a short walk to the harbor in Husavik. We didn't take any pictures inside, but trust me, it's a good place. It snowed on our last day!
