Hotel Keflavik by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

Breakfast was a real spread, included with our stay: pancakes, eggs, pastries, fruit, coffee, cereals, vegetables, salami and cheese, plus ramen and a noodle bar. It was top notch, just a really well done hotel breakfast. We got a room that same night, and the front desk attendant was friendly and helpful. There’s a 24-hour market and a few restaurants within walking distance. We ate at the hotel restaurant, where the food was well prepared and tasty, the drinks were nice, and the staff did a good job. The room TV and shower were nice too, and they provided good toiletries.

The evening restaurant service was the one frustration. We waited an awful long time for our food, though it was great once it arrived. The hotel is nice, the staff are friendly, and breakfast was great. We had a lovely few days, and the view is nice if your room faces the entrance.

The staff come from different backgrounds, and their warmth really makes you feel at home. The hotel is only a 10-minute drive from the airport, which made the location ideal. They serve breakfast as early as 5 a.m., with English breakfast, Asian food and a range of fruit. A great experience, highly recommend it!

The restaurant bar called "Library" is really the main draw here, and breakfast was genuinely good. The staff were friendly too, though it seemed only one person could take payments, which was odd. For what you get, the price feels outrageous. My room had almost no interior design, with wooden floors instead of carpet, and the bed was too small to reach the nightstands against the wall. It felt like someone started designing a hotel in the 90s and stopped halfway through.
