The one thing to plan for is light: bring an eye mask. We stayed in early May, and the curtains didn't cover the windows well or dim the room much. The beds were comfortable, and there was a hair dryer in the bathroom. Our double room was very warm when we arrived, with a roomy bathroom and a nice shower. The scenery is beautiful, the hot tubs were a great way to unwind after hiking and exploring, and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious too.

That hot tub was a highlight, especially when we watched the northern lights from it. Breakfast was great, and the staff were kind and attentive. My husband and I stayed one night during our Ring Road trip. The rooms were clean, though the hall showers weren't as nice. Watch your step on the small, slick steps around the guesthouse, especially when carrying bags or going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Anna took great care of us, and breakfast, dinner, and the service were the best parts. The pan-fried trout from their own farm was seasoned and cooked beautifully. It was also a treat to chat with the owner, Selma, who served us at breakfast. My bedroom was quiet and clean, and I slept well. The shared bathroom and attic shower were great. For the price, it was excellent compared with similar hostels.

The trout is a must. Farm-fresh food at the restaurant was a real lifesaver, and the hot tubs came included in the price, perfect after a long hike. Sharing a bathroom wasn't an issue; everything was clean, fresh, and comfortable.

The setting is amazing, and Szymon and his wife gave us fantastic service. The farm food was excellent and the price was unbelievable. The handmade sweaters were super comfortable.
