The bungalow itself was lovely, with plenty of indoor space and warmth. It sat in a beautiful spot, and the hot tub looked out toward a little pond and a snow covered mountain. The house rules and instructions were the part that bothered us. They came across as strict and unfriendly, more like orders than polite requests, including washing and putting away all the dishes, taking out the garbage, and optionally stripping the bedsheets. We wanted a vacation bungalow, but that tone affected the feel. The unit could also use a refresh in 2024, including new shower walls, and the hot tub took detailed instructions to operate.

The views from the house are incredible, and it has everything you need. It’s peaceful, surrounded by mountains, and a lovely place to enjoy nature. The guy was really polite and kind. I called him at night to ask how to connect the jacuzzi, and he explained it all with a smile.

The cabins sit in a pretty valley below hills, with a river running right beside them. Our cabin had lots of room for two, and the facilities were kept up well. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful while I was traveling. The balcony hot tub on a September night was a highlight, especially with the beautiful surroundings.

A clean, practical kitchen and a cozy cabin made this a nice place for a night or two. There were lovely views all around, and we even saw the northern lights.

There are some handy extras in the main building, including free coffee, a washing machine, and a cozy common room. We also got to use the kayaks for free, which was a great bonus. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and well maintained, and the staff were especially attentive and friendly. We felt very welcome and had a fantastic stay. Highly recommended.
