Blue View Cabin

The hot tub controls took a little figuring out. The panel is on the wall inside by the front door, and once we found it, adjusting the temperature was easy. It warmed up to a lovely temperature before long. The cottages are cute and cosy, and the beds were very comfortable. They're set in a beautiful field, with a great dark sky for seeing the northern lights across the whole night.

The cabin was in great shape, check-in was easy, and the guidebook was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was ready when we arrived and simple to use, and the view was lovely. Other guests were the only issue: they made noise, honking car horns in the evening, and their big TV screens lit up the windows on a perfect aurora night. That's outside the company's control, so I haven't let it affect my score. Still, it would be nice to set expectations for guests when the cabins are so close together.

A comfortable, clean place with everything we needed, and a great spot to get away. I loved relaxing in the hot tub. I imagine it'd be great for the northern lights, though we didn't get the best weather.

We booked Blue Cabin 3A in December 2024 mainly for a chance to see the Northern Lights. The cabin was cosy and clean, and it had a nice outdoor hot tub, but our stay was disappointing. Bright orange lights from nearby areas, possibly factories or greenhouses, lit up the sky in three directions around the cabin. They took away much of the darkness needed to see the lights. If that's your reason for booking this cabin, I'd look elsewhere.
