The home is big and in a pretty, private location, with a very large deck and a great hot tub. Inside, though, our sheets had hair and dirt on them across multiple beds, some bulbs were burnt out, and the bookcase was a mess. It definitely felt like people had stayed there before us, which isn't how I want to feel when I check in.

It was a great value for the size and amenities, and the remote setting made it a good place to see the northern lights. The house is lovely, up on a hillside with a view across the valley. Flúðir is about a 10 minute drive away.

We only stayed a short time, and I wish we'd had longer. The place was lovely, with quiet surroundings, spacious clean rooms, and beautiful nature views from the living room and kitchen. There was a large terrace, and everything we needed was provided. Thank you!

We stayed here for our first night after arriving and again on our last night before leaving. Every room had beautiful views. The rooms were spacious, clean, and elegant, and the living room was huge. There are two bathrooms and a jacuzzi on the terrace. A fantastic place, highly recommended.
