Apotek Hotel by Keahotels

The staff were accommodating and easy to deal with. This is a classically modern hotel, though the rooms feel a little tight while still giving you enough room to move around. We visited in mid-February, when it was quiet, and there was plenty within walking distance. There are lots of nearby bars and restaurants, so I can imagine it gets popular. The hotel is on an odd one-way street that Google Maps has trouble directing people to.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with lots of choices, an easy 10/10. Our room was clean, quiet, well insulated from noise, and smelled nice. The hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were good, too. It's an old building, so the wooden floor wasn't perfect, but that was understandable. The room itself was good and the staff were kind. Once, the light fuse went out, and someone helped quickly. There's no hotel parking, but the large city car park is about a six-minute walk away. The only real hassle was the shower control: it had no grip, and with conditioner on my hands I couldn't turn the water back on. I had to walk to the sink, get a face cloth, and use that.

The location was wonderful, within an easy walk of most tourist spots, and the room was quiet, comfortable, and a nice size. The staff and hotel were awesome, as other reviews have said. The breakfast buffet was the best of the six other places we stayed in the country. Parking was the only headache for me, since we rented a car and had to find our way around an unfamiliar city. If you skipped the rental car, good call. I'd highly recommend this place.

The location is central, close to the main shopping area and plenty of restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and beautiful, and you can easily walk around from here. Bus stop 2 is also nearby for drop-off from the bus terminal. I highly recommend this Apotek hotel and would stay again on a future visit.
