We’d definitely stay again. Sverrir was very helpful, and the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with a toilet and shower just off it. There was also a comfortable lounge with a TV and some UK channels, though we were too busy to watch. The three bedrooms were comfortable, and one had its own toilet. We were there with our three teenage children in the three-bed apartment at 6 Grjótagata. It was lovely and comfortable, with nice decor. Tour pickup points and a grocery shop were just around the corner, and there was plenty to see within walking distance. Restaurants, the harbour, and independent handmade craft shops were close by too. The international airport was about an hour away by bus.

Edda and Sverrier are both wonderful people and artists, and their hospitality was superb. I stayed in both of their apartments a few years ago for work and travel, and it felt like home. The house is amazing, quiet and peaceful, with everything I needed nearby. The location was just perfect. I hope I get to meet them again one day. 🙏⚘

The apartment felt homely and was clean, and the price was reasonable. It’s very central, which was great. The only downside for me was the bathroom size.
