Even fruit, tea and milk were provided, and there were thoughtful touches throughout this cleverly designed small studio: quality kitchen tools, a closet, a kettle, and soap for the laundry room downstairs. I loved staying here. There's some nighttime noise because this part of town is popular for partying, but it didn't bother us. The location is great, with a grocery store across the street and several good cafes, restaurants, and pastry shops within walking distance.

A clean home with the amenities we needed, including a stovetop, microwave, kettle, hair dryer, coffee maker, cookware, and utensils. It's centrally located for bus stops and restaurants, and close to most of the city's sightseeing spots.

The host was very responsive, and I'd absolutely stay here again. The apartment was comfortable and cozy, with plenty of space for two. Shops and restaurants are just steps away. The famous church is about a five-minute walk, and our food tour started at the concert hall, around 15 minutes on foot. Bus stop 9, used for our tour pickups and drop-offs, is three long blocks away, about five minutes. For the layout, Apartments 1 and 2 are on the second floor, and apartment 3 is on the third, using American floor numbering. The entrance for 1-3 is on the building's left side. The other apartments use the entrance at the front, just past the shop.

The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. If we make it back to Iceland, we'll definitely stay here again. At 46Heima, we felt at home. For the price of a nice hotel room, you get a place that feels like your own, with a mini kitchen and fridge that make it easy to save leftovers or cook something from the grocery store instead of paying Iceland's pricey restaurant costs. Shops and restaurants are also just a short distance away.
