B28 Apartments

The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, with the city center very close by. But the entrance code pad worked only around five percent of the time, and the building’s front door stuck when we used the key, which looked like a poor copy. The hallway smelled bad and was dirty. We’d bought food to cook and save money, but the microwave, dishes, toaster, glasses, and spoons were all greasy and filthy. We couldn’t bring ourselves to use them. The light by the table didn’t work, the pillows were so thin they barely felt like pillows, and there was almost no storage for clothes, so most of ours stayed in suitcases. I guess I was glad there wasn’t a wardrobe if it would’ve been as dirty as everything else. They also fine you €200 for smoking by the window. That last point is personal and might not matter to everyone.
