B14 Hostel

I stayed for 11 nights and felt like I was somewhere luxurious. For me, that comes down to the service more than the room or facilities, and Jackie made this place special. She's warm, generous, and caring. Things stayed tidy and clean the whole time. The hostel has big areas to relax and a fully equipped kitchen if you like to cook. I prefer staying outside town, so the location suited me, with easy access to buses, gardens, parks, shops, and pools. It fit the way I like to travel, as a visitor without feeling like a tourist. The price is good for what you get, but Jackie is the real reason I'd recommend it. She's the most caring staff member I've come across in all my stays across the 71 countries I've visited. Thanks, Jackie, for everything!

The bed was really comfortable, and I slept well even though I was sharing the room. It would have been nice to have a towel for the stay, but the value for the price was high.

I’d never stayed in a hostel before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The room was clean, and there were only three other people sharing it with me. The hot-water smell caught me off guard. It’s a long walk or scooter ride to downtown, but for the price it’s a great deal. There’s even an ice cream shop downstairs.

The beds were really comfortable, and each has a curtain for a bit of privacy. There’s a big, fully equipped kitchen and a pleasant spot to relax or meet people. The place was clean, cosy, and well cared for, with shops nearby and main roads that lead straight to the airport if you’re driving. One thing to know: some aurora tours collect people around midnight, and the door opening can get pretty noisy.
